In this role, you will work closely with senior analysts to process complex datasets, identify market trends, and support our trading desk with actionable insights. Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process large volumes of equity options market data using SQL and Python.
- Assist in the development of interactive dashboards and reporting tools to visualize trading performance.
- Conduct preliminary market analysis to support the identification of potential trading opportunities.
- Collaborate with the quantitative research team to validate data models and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and update internal databases with the latest market information and pricing data.
- Prepare regular performance reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in equity options and financial markets.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and SQL.
- Willingness to learn Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
