Responsibilities
- Assist in Data Collection: Gather and verify data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness for reporting.
- Support Reporting: Help maintain and update weekly and monthly performance reports using Excel and visualization tools.
- Data Visualization: Learn to create dashboards and charts in Tableau or Power BI to visualize trends and KPIs.
- Data Cleaning: Perform basic data cleaning and validation to resolve errors and inconsistencies in datasets.
- Collaborative Analysis: Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Documentation: Document data processes and analysis methodologies to ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is required.
- Learning Attitude: Strong desire to learn SQL, Python, or R; willingness to complete training programs.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in large datasets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings clearly.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Oakland, CA.
