As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive our business strategy. You will work closely with senior analysts to build dashboards, clean datasets, and present findings to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, organize, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Dashboard Creation: Assist in the development and maintenance of interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
- Report Generation: Create clear, concise reports and summaries for management, translating complex data into understandable insights.
- SQL Support: Write and optimize basic SQL queries to retrieve data from databases and support data extraction tasks.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve data quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and a basic understanding of SQL.
- Learning Agility: Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly with a strong desire to grow.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present data findings effectively.
