Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time SIEM tools to identify potential threats.
- Assist in the investigation and triage of security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct routine log analysis to ensure system integrity and compliance.
- Support patch management processes to mitigate known risks.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to document incident responses and create reports.
- Participate in red team/blue team exercises and security awareness training.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Eagerness to obtain industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this role.
