Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time security alerts and analyze traffic logs to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Assist in the execution of penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for internal networks.
- Support the incident response team by documenting findings and assisting in mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2).
- Update and maintain accurate security documentation and technical reports.
- Participate in security awareness training and help educate non-technical staff on best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to obtain industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA Security+.
