Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools (Splunk/Sentinel).
- Assist in the identification, logging, and documentation of security incidents.
- Support the IT team with vulnerability assessments and patch management processes.
- Conduct basic security audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards (NIST).
- Respond to user inquiries regarding password resets, phishing, and general security awareness.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to investigate potential threats and anomalies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP protocols).
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+) during employment.
