Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts for suspicious activity using SIEM tools.
- Assist in the identification, triage, and remediation of security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct basic penetration testing and vulnerability assessments under supervision.
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports accurately.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of hardware and software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Eagerness to learn and obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
