Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and SIEM alerts for potential intrusions and anomalies.
- Assist in the configuration and management of firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
- Perform daily vulnerability assessments and patch management on critical systems.
- Respond to and document security incidents and daily security operations reports.
- Conduct security awareness training and phishing simulations for employees.
- Support audits and compliance initiatives (ISO, HIPAA, SOC2).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Strong interest in network security, cryptography, and ethical hacking.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings.
- Ability to work independently and remotely in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
