Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and systems for suspicious activity using SIEM tools.
- Assist the security team in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Support incident response efforts by logging and categorizing security events.
- Conduct routine security audits and update internal documentation.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software deployment and configuration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
- Basic understanding of operating systems, specifically Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- ITIL Foundation certification or willingness to obtain it within the first 6 months.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
