In this role, you will work alongside seasoned security professionals in our 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC). You will gain hands-on experience with industry-leading SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and incident response methodologies. Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct preliminary analysis of security incidents and assist senior analysts in the incident response lifecycle.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support to identify weaknesses in systems and networks.
- Document security configurations, audit findings, and incident reports in accordance with compliance standards.
- Assist in the deployment of security patches and updates to mitigate known vulnerabilities.
- Support the execution of security awareness training programs for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Candidate must hold or be willing to obtain CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification within 6 months.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, and HTTP.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and command-line interfaces.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
