Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and systems for potential security threats and anomalies.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security protocols for equity options trading systems.
- Conduct daily security audits and generate detailed reports for senior management.
- Respond to and assist in the resolution of security incidents and alerts.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
- Participate in penetration testing exercises and vulnerability assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Familiarity with basic security tools and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
