What You Will Do:
Our team is on the front lines of digital defense. You will assist in monitoring systems, analyzing security data, and responding to incidents under the guidance of senior analysts. It is a role that requires constant learning and a sharp eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Alerts: Review SIEM dashboards and incident alerts to identify potential threats or anomalies in real-time.
- Incident Response Support: Assist in the triage and documentation of security incidents, ensuring a rapid and organized response.
- Vulnerability Management: Participate in vulnerability scanning and reporting processes to identify weaknesses in our network and applications.
- Compliance Reporting: Support internal audits and ensure adherence to security standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Patch Management: Help coordinate the deployment of security patches and software updates to mitigate known risks.
- Security Awareness: Contribute to the development and delivery of internal security awareness training programs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ is highly preferred; willingness to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, GSEC) within 12 months is required.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and IT infrastructure.
- Tools: Familiarity with basic security tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nmap, or Splunk) is a significant plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly.
- Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English.
