Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events on SIEM systems to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Assist in the identification, logging, and reporting of security incidents.
- Perform basic vulnerability assessments and scans to ensure system integrity.
- Support the implementation of security patches and updates.
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to investigate suspicious network activity.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn new tools quickly.
- Passion for learning and a desire to pursue security certifications.
