Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Operations Center (SOC) feeds and analyze alerts for suspicious activity using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Assist in the detection, analysis, and response to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct log reviews and support the implementation of security patches and updates.
- Document incident reports and maintain accurate security logs and audit trails.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture and awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Fundamental understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI Model) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- CompTIA Security+ certification preferred; willingness to obtain it within 6 months.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
