As a Cloud Engineer, you will work alongside senior professionals to manage, monitor, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience with major cloud providers, networking concepts, and server management while contributing to real-world projects that impact our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, health, and security to ensure 99.9% uptime for all services.
- Document technical processes, configurations, and system architecture for future reference.
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot issues and implement new features efficiently.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning to align on project goals.
- Learn and implement best practices for cloud security and data protection.
- Conduct routine backups and disaster recovery testing to safeguard company data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic understanding of computer networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Familiarity with operating systems, specifically Windows Server or Linux.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and obtain relevant cloud certifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is a plus but not required.
