Responsibilities
- Assist in Hardware & Software Support: Help diagnose and resolve hardware malfunctions and software installation issues for internal staff.
- Help Desk Support: Respond to incoming support tickets and troubleshoot basic network connectivity problems.
- System Monitoring: Learn to monitor system performance and ensure network uptime for company operations.
- User Training: Assist in educating end-users on best practices for using company software and hardware.
- Documentation: Accurately document technical issues, resolutions, and hardware inventory using our ticketing system.
- Deployment Support: Participate in the setup and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic computer hardware components.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation and a patient, helpful attitude.
- Availability: Must be able to work full-time, including some weekends or evenings if necessary.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot basic problems and think logically.
