Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person for hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and printers.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity and system performance issues.
- Update and maintain accurate documentation for IT assets and incident logs.
- Collaborate with the IT team to deploy new software updates and security patches.
- Learn and assist with server maintenance and virtualization technologies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+ is a plus, but not required).
- Reliable transportation to the Raleigh office.
