Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for end-users.
- Help Desk Support: Manage incoming support tickets, responding promptly and professionally via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Asset Management: Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
- System Updates: Perform software installations, updates, and patches on company devices.
- User Assistance: Provide technical guidance and training to employees on company policies and software usage.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and inventory logs.
- Network Basics: Support day-to-day network operations and assist in identifying potential security vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
- Basic Skills: Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems and basic computer hardware components.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems and think logically to find solutions.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn new technologies and procedures.
- Availability: Must be willing to work occasional weekends or evenings to support system maintenance windows.
