Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for 500+ employees across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Document IT processes and knowledge base articles using ServiceNow platform
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team on vulnerability scans and patch management
- Assist in cloud infrastructure management (AWS/Azure) and SaaS application support
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation (1:5 rotation)
- Shadow senior engineers during complex incident resolution
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field OR equivalent military/technical experience
- CompTIA A+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Strong customer service skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 30lbs for equipment handling
