Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Configure and deploy new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices for employees.
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure uptime.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement software updates and security patches.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT is preferred.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS) and networking fundamentals.
- Strong desire to learn and obtain industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+).
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts simply.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional remote support.
