As an IT Support Trainee, you'll work alongside industry experts to master enterprise-level infrastructure, network troubleshooting, and customer service excellence. Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for internal staff and external clients via phone, email, and remote tools
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and network connectivity problems
- Assist with system deployments, patch management, and asset inventory maintenance
- Document support tickets and technical procedures using ITSM software
- Participate in cross-departmental IT projects and training workshops
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex infrastructure upgrades
- Maintain security compliance protocols and access controls
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in IT/Computer Science preferred
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal/written communication abilities
- Customer service mindset and patience with end-users
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent knowledge a plus
- Ability to lift 30lbs for equipment handling
