Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware/software systems across Windows and macOS environments
- Provide Tier 1 support via phone, email, and remote assistance for internal/external clients
- Document IT procedures, incidents, and solutions in ServiceNow knowledge base
- Assist with network administration tasks including Wi-Fi setup and VPN configuration
- Participate in security audits and compliance initiatives (HIPAA/FERPA)
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; CompTIA A+ certification preferred
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in server room environments
- Valid Alaska driver's license for occasional site visits
