Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and remote assistance
- Deploy and configure hardware (laptops, servers, network devices)
- Assist with software installations, updates, and patch management
- Document technical procedures and maintain knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network monitoring and security protocols
- Participate in cross-departmental tech initiatives and training sessions
- Support office IT infrastructure including AV systems and conference room technology
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field OR equivalent technical certification
- Basic understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and work in a physical IT environment
- Valid driver's license for occasional equipment transport
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
