Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, email, and in-person
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripherals
- Assist with network connectivity troubleshooting and basic security protocols
- Document technical issues and resolutions in IT service management tools
- Collaborate with senior technicians on complex system implementations
- Participate in ongoing training to develop technical expertise
- Support internal IT audits and compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in IT preferred)
- Basic computer literacy and troubleshooting aptitude
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in fast-paced environments
- Valid driver's license for occasional equipment transport
- Customer service mindset with patience for technical novices
- Willingness to obtain CompTIA A+ certification within first year
