Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware/software systems including desktops, laptops, and network devices
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and in-person for end-users
- Document technical issues and resolutions using ticketing systems (Jira/ServiceNow)
- Assist with network administration tasks including VPN setup and security protocols
- Participate in cross-departmental IT projects and system upgrades
- Complete industry certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) during training period
- Adhere to ITIL best practices for incident management and service delivery
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in IT preferred
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Customer service mindset with patience and empathy
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site support
