Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
- Assist with network diagnostics and basic server administration tasks
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles
- Participate in cross-departmental IT projects and shadow senior engineers
- Adhere to IT security protocols and compliance standards
- Complete monthly training modules and certification preparation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and networking concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Ability to lift 20 lbs and work in server environments
- Valid Indiana driver's license required for occasional site visits
