Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Manage and maintain the IT asset inventory, ensuring accurate tracking of all devices, licenses, and warranty information.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot endpoints including Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with the Network Engineering team to ensure high availability of infrastructure and resolve connectivity issues.
- Conduct regular security audits and perform patch management to protect company data and sensitive information.
- Train end-users on best practices for cybersecurity, software utilization, and company IT policies.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Help Desk or IT Support role.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 (Office 365).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to be on-call for critical system outages outside of standard business hours.
