Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify functional, usability, and performance defects
- Create detailed test plans, test scripts, and bug reports using JIRA and Confluence
- Validate software requirements against technical specifications and user expectations
- Perform regression testing on web and mobile applications across multiple browsers and devices
- Document test results and provide actionable feedback to development teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on QA testing experience in software development
- Proficiency with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and QA best practices
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Experience writing and executing test cases, test plans, and user stories
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication skills for clear defect documentation and team collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
