Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and enforce security policies
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms, network security tools, and vulnerability scanners
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize incidents under pressure
