Responsibilities
- Design and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to cover all aspects of the application.
- Automated Testing: Implement and maintain automated regression suites using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and verify software defects with precision, ensuring clear communication with developers.
- Performance Testing: Collaborate with the team to conduct load and stress testing to ensure application stability under peak usage.
- Regression Testing: Execute regression testing on new releases to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, results, and metrics to track quality assurance progress.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automated testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and RESTful API testing (Postman, SoapUI).
- Tools: Strong knowledge of testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
