Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and peripherals.
- Manage and update the incident tracking system to ensure accurate service documentation.
- Onboard new employees and set up their workstations and access permissions.
- Educate users on best practices for system usage and data security.
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 specialists when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Help Desk or IT Support role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS) and Active Directory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings.
