Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues efficiently.
- Manage and track IT service tickets using the ticketing system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop environments, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security checks to ensure system integrity.
- Conduct onboarding sessions for new employees to ensure proper IT setup and security compliance.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve help desk processes and documentation.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in Help Desk or IT Support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Active Directory, networking concepts, and basic scripting is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tickets and tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Baton Rouge, LA.
