Responsibilities
- Tier 1 & 2 Support: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Equipment Management: Set up, configure, and manage the provided equipment inventory for new hires and existing staff.
- System Administration: Install and configure operating systems (Windows, macOS) and standard business applications.
- Incident Management: Log, track, and manage help desk tickets using ITSM tools to ensure timely resolution.
- User Education: Provide guidance and training to users on software usage and best practices for cybersecurity.
- Network Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the integrity of the local area network (LAN) and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Help Desk or Technical Support role.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
