Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and forecast their 2026+ impact on our industry
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating breakthrough innovations with existing business operations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption
- Conduct competitive intelligence and scenario planning for disruptive technologies
- Present futuristic insights to executive leadership and investor boards
- Build partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
- Create thought leadership content positioning our company as a future-shaper
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of anticipating tech disruptions and developing implementation strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning skills
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards
- Portfolio of published futurism research or thought leadership
- Strong network with tech futurists and research institutions
