Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through 2026 and beyond
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption
- Lead scenario planning for future market conditions and competitive landscapes
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate futurist insights into corporate strategy
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities
- Present compelling narratives to stakeholders and investors about future technology trajectories
- Maintain a dynamic technology intelligence database and trend radar
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption cycles with 80%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience developing scenario planning frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling abilities with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi method)
