Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market implications through 2026+
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology foresight framework with quarterly trend assessments
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to align innovation roadmaps with future market demands
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking across all business units
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and ethical implications for strategic planning
- Author quarterly 'FutureScan' reports for investors and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology analysis
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and capitalizing on tech trends
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their socioeconomic impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFSP, CFP)
- Portfolio demonstrating past technology foresight projects and outcomes
