Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, neurotech) and develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Architect cross-industry innovation blueprints for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead global scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives
- Author forward-looking technology white papers published in Nature and IEEE journals
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Stanford on next-gen research initiatives
- Drive $50M+ R&D budget allocation for breakthrough technologies
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and technology ethicists
Qualifications
- PhD in Technology Futures, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 8+ years applied experience
- Published research in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies ($100M+ impact)
- Expertise in futures methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technology convergence patterns
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio of 3+ industry-disrupting technology roadmaps implemented
