Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite leadership, identifying both opportunities and systemic risks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Produce high-impact trend reports and predictive models for executive decision support
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
- Present strategic foresight to board members and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures/innovation publications
- Experience working with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
