Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate tech, neurotech) to build 5-year strategic foresight models
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives on future-proofing strategies
- Author white papers and TED-style talks on emerging paradigm shifts
- Advise on ethical implications of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on horizon-scanning initiatives
- Design prototype solutions for 2030 sustainability challenges
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Published thought leadership on 2026+ technological convergence
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., causal layered analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Deep knowledge of at least three emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term disruption
- Portfolio demonstrating trend-prediction accuracy (minimum 85% success rate)
