Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year trend forecasts across technology, social, and environmental domains
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for organizational resilience in 2026+ contexts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Author thought leadership reports on disruptive forces reshaping industries
- Advise executive team on strategic pivots for exponential change environments
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist partners and innovation scouts
- Quantify future risks/opportunities using predictive modeling tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research (whitepapers, journals)
- Expertise in systems thinking and scenario methodology frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures to stakeholders
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, SFI preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major future-shaping projects
