Responsibilities
- Anticipate global tech, economic, and societal shifts through horizon scanning and scenario modeling
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ adoption of AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof business models
- Present trend forecasts and strategic recommendations to Fortune 500 executives
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build a global network of trend analysis experts
- Integrate foresight into product development cycles for 3-5 year market positioning
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
