Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (climate tech, neuro interfaces, decentralized finance) to forecast 2026 market opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and technological disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate foresight into R&D and product development
- Author annual 'Future State' reports with strategic recommendations for executive stakeholders
- Identify and vet emerging technologies for potential corporate partnerships or acquisitions
- Design organizational resilience protocols for systemic risks (supply chain, regulatory, cyber)
- Mentor junior analysts in futures research methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Published thought leadership on 2025+ technology or societal trends
- Expertise in scenario modeling, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on strategic adaptation
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from future-oriented strategy implementation
