Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate resilience) to define 2026+ strategic scenarios
- Develop and maintain Horizon's horizon scanning framework, identifying disruptive opportunities and risks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Build and mentor a high-performing futures intelligence team
- Integrate foresight outputs into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
- Publish thought leadership on emerging paradigms and their business implications
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategy, Technology, or related field
- Experience building and scaling innovation teams in high-growth environments
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation publications
