Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and societal trends to forecast 3-5 year market shifts
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks for product development and business transformation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-focused initiatives
- Produce foresight reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for potential partnerships or acquisitions
- Design and implement innovation KPIs to measure future-readiness progress
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven experience developing long-term strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Track record of launching successful innovation initiatives from concept to market
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIF, WFS) strongly preferred
