Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026+ strategic foresight framework, identifying disruptive trends across AI, biotech, climate tech, and human-machine interfaces
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps and market entry strategies
- Author high-impact scenario-planning reports for executive decision-making and investor communications
- Establish and nurture a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic thought leaders
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops for C-suite and board members on emerging risks and opportunities
- Quantify future market potential using predictive modeling and scenario stress-testing methodologies
- Champion a culture of innovation by mentoring R&D teams on future-focused R&D prioritization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist roles with demonstrable impact on long-term corporate strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market-disrupting products or services
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures concepts to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis) and data visualization
- Experience leading high-impact innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Published thought leadership in futures, technology, or strategy publications
