Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and sustainable energy sectors
- Develop predictive models and scenario-planning frameworks for 2026+ market landscapes
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops with Fortune 500 executives to identify innovation pathways
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership pieces for industry publications
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into R&D roadmaps
- Establish cross-industry innovation ecosystems through strategic partnerships
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing market-defining frameworks for 2025+ horizons
- Expertise in emerging technologies with published thought leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA with innovation focus
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend forecasting
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Experience advising C-suite executives on technology disruption strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational innovation roadmaps
