Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, biotech, and climate innovation domains
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive market shifts and regulatory transformations
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-proofing into corporate strategy
- Curate and manage the Nexus Horizon Innovation Lab's $50M R&D portfolio
- Present futures insights to global policymakers at Davos and WEF summits
- Build and lead a cross-functional team of futurists and domain experts
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Scan' reports distributed to Fortune 500 leadership
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Innovation Management
- 10+ years in strategic foresight at Fortune 100 or unicorn startups
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures journals or top-tier tech publications
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial ventures
- Deep network connections with DARPA, NASA, and EU Horizon Europe
- Fluency in futures methodologies: Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Backcasting
- Experience advising governments on technology policy and ethical frameworks
