Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts impacting global markets
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks to model future business landscapes and disruption risks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026+ market opportunities
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Integrate future-focused strategies into product roadmaps and corporate vision
- Author thought leadership content positioning our company as a 2026 innovation pioneer
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Futurism, Technology Strategy, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing future-ready strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology adoption curves
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to articulate complex future scenarios
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., from APF or IIF)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-focused initiatives
