Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market opportunities and technological inflection points
- Analyze emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive teams to prepare for multiple future states
- Partner with R&D, product, and marketing teams to align innovation initiatives with business objectives
- Author thought leadership publications and present strategic insights to industry stakeholders
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation impact and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Foster a culture of experimentation by prototyping future-facing solutions and validating market readiness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, corporate R&D, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web3, synthetic biology) and their business applications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience translating complex insights into executive action plans
- Published thought leader in innovation journals or industry publications
- Strong cross-functional leadership experience with ability to influence without authority
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, scenario planning)
