Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for AI integration, quantum computing adoption, and biotech convergence
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Present futures insights to executive stakeholders through compelling narratives and visual frameworks
- Establish innovation governance frameworks to balance long-term vision with near-term execution
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development cycles
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive future positioning
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech strategy leadership
- Proven track record translating future scenarios into enterprise-level roadmaps
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence trends
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong executive communication with ability to simplify complex futures concepts
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation strategy (required)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
